On 25 April 2019 the “Happy 1/2 Hour with an Expert in Haemophilia Care” focused on employment issues. We spoke with specialist training provider in disability sector, Ms Traci Marshall-Dowling from Ireland. Alongside her professional career, Traci also has been a member of EHC Steering Committee and President of the Irish Haemophilia Society.
Living with an inhibitor can be very unpredictable and for many the employment issues are a great source of worry. We hope that this discussion helped to undo some of these worries.
First of all the more general questions that can apply to anyone were discussed in the section about Entering_the_world_of_work. Then later on the discussion turned to more specific questions about Living_with_a_chronic_condition_and_work.
Traci was also very kind to share some additional materials that can be helpful – Tips for Success Worksheet – as well as offered to provide further individual advice if necessary; If you wish to contact Traci, please write to kristine.jansone@ehc.eu in the EHC office!
