When the confinement first started more than a year ago, we did not think that it will last this long.
In the beginning of this extensive period everybody was more diligent in any things – washing hands, wearing masks, as well as maintaining regular physical activity. But being forced to stay home for so long, it is hard to keep yourself motivated.

In this month’s “Happy 1/2 Hour with an Expert in Haemophilia Care” we wanted to address again the importance of physical activity during this period, explore ways to stay physically active, learn how to stay safe while exercising. This session will be aimed not only at people with inhibitors themselves, but also for parents of children with inhibitors and partners of the PWI. We will look into movement benefits for adults of different ages and for children, and give examples of what activities are recommended for each individual.

Our invited speaker will be physiotherapist Ioana Malita from Buzias, Romania. Ioana has long experience working with the patients with inhibitors, and is also part of the EHC Inhibitor Working Group.

The session will take place on Tuesday, 25th May at 19:00 CET.
