From November 30th to December 3rd, the European Haemophilia Consortium (EHC) will hold its second Inhibitor Summit in Barretstown, Ireland. This event is aimed exclusively at representatives from EHC National Member Organisations (NMO) who have bleeding disorders and inhibitors and their families and caregivers.

People with bleeding disorders who have inhibitors within the EHC membership are a minority that face daily challenges that are often not known to other members of the community. Due to the small number of people with inhibitors in their respective countries, there are very few specific materials or activities designed for this group. Therefore the EHC is organising a European meeting, which would allow a larger number of people with haemophilia who have inhibitors, together with their caregivers where relevant, to come together.

The purpose of the Inhibitor Summit is to offer a special time and space for people with bleeding disorders who have inhibitors, as well as their family members and caregivers to build a community, educate and empower themselves and to improve the quality of their lives. In addition, the summit will offer a possibility to spend time in a relaxing environment and enjoy the activities together.

Consult the draft programme of the event.

Participants who wish to attend this event, should get in touch with their respective NMO.
